1. By Malene Birger Costanza Pencil Skirt – When thinking about fall I immediately think back-to-school and the start of a new year. Now, whether you are actually going back to school or not this is the start of a new season. Plaid is a go-to for this transitioning period to winter. The print is nostalgic to many and I love that about it.
  2. Mango Textured Panel Sweatshirt – Since I can remember, once the temperature went down even the slightest bit I would pull out my sweatshirts in anticipation of those cold mornings. I’m a sucker for the soft comfy feeling of a worn in sweatshirt. As I get older nothing has changed, except maybe going for the simple style instead of my school colors.
  3. Mango Puffed-Shoulder-Shirt – The classic blue button up. One trend I never thought I would be into is the collared button up under one of your favorite knits. Olivia Palermo and Poppy Delevingne are two that can really pull it off and kind of gave me that push into seeing if I can as well. Now the first time I did this both my brothers looked at me like I was crazy. Either way, tucking in a button up into high waist skinny jeans and throwing on knee high boots is an all-time go-to.
  4. Mango Alpaca Wool-Blend Cape – I got my first cape back when the only worries you had were picking out matching outfits for your American Girl doll. She had one, so of course I had one also. Why I haven’t had one since then is beyond me. I love the easiness it brings to a look. Just throwing it on over whatever like you would with a blanket. This is a must-have this season.
  5. Mango Fringed Jacket – I love me some fringe. I’ve been carrying around my black fringed bag for a couple years now and I’ve decided to retire it for this season. Sad but this means I can wear fringe again. Nothing is tackier than wearing double fringe so when I saw this leather fringed jacket on Mango it was love at first sight.
  6. Mango Modal Wool-Blend Sweater – Thin, soft like butter sweaters are pretty much made for the months of September and October. The weather is getting chilly but not cold enough that you need to pull out your cable knit. I’m getting excited just thinking about it. Plus these thin, soft like butter sweaters scream sex appeal.
  7. Mango Zipped Contrast Skirt – Very much into this leather skirt. Pairing the hard of leather and the soft of a cashmere sweater is pure perfection. Period.
  8. Rachel Zoe Tartan Print Wool Mini-Skirt – Why am I so into skirts this season? It’s beyond me because this is something I’ve never been drawn too but I can’t stop looking at them. Rachel Zoe and I, I feel, have always been on the same wave length when it comes to fashion. I’ve got my plaid pencil skirt picked out and now I’ve got my mini.
  9. Vince Chevron Knit Turtleneck – To some turtlenecks may seem a bit too covered up but a turtleneck is one piece that makes me feel the sexiest. It’s a classic and gives off a since of mystery due to being fully covered. Pair with skinny jeans and boots and let me know how many double looks you get that day.
  10. Marc Jacobs Mini Leather Shoulder Bag – Bags to me can be that one piece in your look that really gives someone a sense of who you are. Bags bring in the whole look and are a piece in your closet that always should be loved. Crossbody bags are perfect for those moments when all you need is your cell, credit card, cash, powder and lipstick. What I love most about this bag is the thick strap. Something you rarely find with such a small purse but the chunkiness it brings to this rich turquoise color is perfection.
  11. Rag & Bone Ryland Boots – If you know me you know I love my booties. This is a staple in my wardrobe all year around. The quality of Rag & Bone’s booties is what makes them last for years. Simple and classic and that’s why they never go out of style.
  12. Vince Nikita Loafers – I’ve been crazy about loafers for the past few months. I honestly hate the way I feel in flats but give me a loafer with a one inch heel and I’m golden.
  13. Deadly Ponies Mr. Fill N Zip Twist Satchel – Last but not least, the key piece, the satchel. You know it’s really hard to find that ONE Satchel you’ll be using all season. I’ve gone between a few and this is the one I decided to put in my September Must-Haves. The perfect size, simple, chic, plus I love the addition of the handle options. Black may be a little Plain Jane, but I’ve accepted that this is just me.
