Rodarte did it again and this time with pirates and mermaids (a match made in sea heaven). Laura and Kate Mulleavy took our minds into a day dream from pirate chic to beautifully embroidered, netted mermaid dresses. I instantly fell for this collection when that first look walked down the runway. All white, high-wasted skinnies and those black thigh-high lace up boots. Of course, the looks just got better as the girls came out. With over-sized knitted coats, ruffled sweaters and blouses (giving us that pirate vibe), and those netter mermaid looks that make your childhood dreams of being a mermaid come true right before your eyes. The styling was on point (as always) with retro chic sunglasses and eyebrow rings covering the eyebrows. Everything seemed so whimsical, which is something I expect from Rodarte in every collection.
