It’s Monday morning and the start to a new week. Since starting my blog I’ve come to actually liking Mondays. I like to sit down and plan out my blog posts for the week and really get myself motivated. I love doing mood boards on Monday because this is what kick starts my inspiration and my drive for the day. Today I’m feeling in more of a lighter mood but still not quite ready to fully jump into spring.
I’m always for that white on white look so I wanted to throw in a little edge with some ripped jeans and black chunky heels. Sass & Bide is a clothing brand that I just drool over with every new season. When I saw this fitted white embroidered tailored jacket I pretty much fell in immediate love with it. I can’t get over the black embroidered flowers they used. They made this jacket go from tea party to after party with the shoulder pads and the single button. Sass & Bide did this jacket well by styling this piece with no shirt underneath. I think it really gave us that cool chick vibe we all look for. As for what to wear underneath this amazing jacket, I would pair it with this pale steel lace bra. Really love mixing this light pink with hard colors to give that girly but down to earth feel. Now I’m never the one going straight for a pink bag but this Loeffler Randall flamingo pink snakeskin bag is to die for. I mean really what better way than mixing girly with hard than pink snakeskin? Place I love the envelope shape with the metal strap. Saving the best for last with this Jerome Dreyfuss RTW Spring 2014 rough turquoise backpack. Just picturing myself running around New York Fashion Week with this amazing backpack thrown around my shoulders gives my chills. Maybe someday :).
