With spring right around the corner and Fall 2014 fashion shows going on right now, my style inspiration seems to be going around in circles. Of course, this happens every year and I somehow seem to get my head on straight by the end of it. I don’t what it is about this years Fall collections but I’m getting this futuristic spacing vibe and I absolutely love it. Thanks to Instagram my feed has been going off like crazy and if you’re like me and don’t want to miss one picture, you have to check it every 5 minutes. I was in complete Ah when Marc Jacobs show was blowing up my phone. I almost called my hair stylist to tell her I want short chopped hair. I felt like I was watching a dream and a dream that came true. Now for Matthew Williamson I had to post two of his looks. His show was unbelievable. I’ve never wanted to wear multi-colored fur more than after seeing his collection. And that black jumper is just on another level. A little rocker meets Princess Leia.
From this Tocca metallic slip dress to Mary Katrantzou’s dramatic embroidered design, Concept Korea’s shiny knee-high ready to take on the world boots to finally Preen’s Star Wars themed collection. I think we are ready to be the modern-day Princess Leia if you ask me. On a side note, I’m thinking I need this metallic green coat for Colorado this weekend. Back to the this futuristic spacing post, it is nice to see some color during the fall shows. I am very minimalistic when it comes to accessories or bringing color into an outfit but I’m thinking that I few metallic’s here and there would take my fall looks to another level (or to a different planet 🙂 ).
