With a new month and a new season, inspiration seems to be a huge aspect when it comes to your wants and needs; April Must-Haves. On my mind this month I found an oldie and a newbie that really have me gravitating towards those blue tones and that natural sense to wander. Andreea Diaconu has been on the pages of every major fashion magazine in the world. She seems like that girl next door, that plain Jane, but she is everything but that. Now when I say “oldie” I mean one of fashion’s top style icon’s from the 90’s, Christy Turlington. Here she is in Esquire November 1997 issue shot by Pamela Hanon and looking to the utmost of effortless as you can be. I love this picture because it shows curiosity in her eyes and the need to learn and discover. 2014 is a year of new beginnings and adventures. My April Must-Haves give that leap of faith with this amazing Alexander Wang top and the simplicity of this lacey Collette by Collette Dinnigan dress. Today I am wearing my first colorful Spring-like shirt of the season and I don’t think I’ve had more compliments. All I have to say is BRING ON THE WARM WEATHER BABAYY.

1. Alexander Wang, Pleated cotton-pique crop top – Like I said above, this top is a leap of faith for me. I’m not into the peplum style tops but how can you go wrong with this light blue crop-top? Alexander Wang is a genius when it comes to changing minds of the unwanted.

2. Stella McCartney, Utility high-rise flared jeans – Bell bottoms have always had a place in my heart. Never can have too many. Stella is bringing back the classics with her new denim line. I will get my hands on the pair above.

3. Rochas, Tassel-front leather clogs – Love tassels. Whether they are on my bag, shirt, belt, jewelry, I’m a sucker for the tassel. Its almost like a love at first type kinda thing and there was no exception when I stumbled upon these Rochas clogs. Plus, clogs bring me back to elementary school. Clogs were everything (and still are).

4. Collette by Collette Dinnigan, Lacey Days dress – Every time I try on a dress I immediately want to take it off because I just feel too girly. I’m on the hunt this season for some casual dresses that I can pair with chunky black booties. I love the look so I’m hoping I can pull it off as well.

5. Maison Martin Margiela MM6, Holographic leopard-heel ankle boot – Want. Need. Must-Have. Maison Martin Margiela never goes wrong. This bootie is one I want to wear with mini dresses and pair it with skinnys during the winter. All around perfect ankle boot.

6. Milly, Demi hologram mini bag – I remember when I was younger I loved this hologram material, whether it was gold, silver, pink, or blue. Now I haven’t really thought about this material since then but I’m not gonna lie, all the love came back when I saw this purse.

7. Polaroid camera (black) – Since I can remember I’ve wanted a Polaroid camera. I would LOVE to have this white one but a black one would do. I just love the way it takes pictures. It gives you that instant picture of simplicity and imperfections but its a snapshot of something real that can’t be edited once the picture is taken.

8. Balenciaga, Arena studded leather bracelet – Always been a huge fan of the Balenciaga stud. Now I would love a purse but that just might break my bank a little. Bracelets are that one piece of jewelry that I feel comfortable with wearing. This leather baby blue wrap around could hold me over for now.
